Year 6 Week 9 News

30th October 2021

Welcome to the second half of this term. We have had a very productive week and wish to thank all parents for the support and co-operation this far.

Educational trip

We had an enjoyable and educative trip to Elsamere, Naivasha. The students had an opportunity to learn about living organisms and the environment; adaptations of different plants and animals to their habitats; physical and human geography; settlements and pollution among other interesting topics. They also had fun activities like nature walks, a visit to the Joy Adamson museum, a game drive and swimming at the hot water spa. We believe they all had a great experiential learning experience.

Kiswahili Day

This year’s Kiswahili day was themed Afya na hali bora which translates to Health and Wellness. This is in line with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals. The students had a chance of writing diary entries of their health and fitness routines. They also learnt a lot about healthy foods, Swahili equipment and attire.
