Year 1 Week 5 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This has been a very exciting week. Children carried out various activities to mark the ‘Mathletics’ week. The theme of the week was ‘Eco Maths’ in line with the overall term’s theme (#planet’spartners). We all enjoyed exploring Math outdoors and integrating it with other areas of learning. Children used different natural materials to make patterns, shapes and to carry out addition and subtraction problems. We all donned our green clothes on Friday to culminate the week’s activities.
