Year 1 Newsletter - Week 9 Term 3

Week 9 was a busy assessment week. Children took tests in English, Maths as well as phonics screening.
We commend them for their resilience and effort throughout the week.
Other areas of focus this week were:
- Sequencing days of the week
- Adding the prefix –un to words
- Introduction to Florence Nightingale
- Extinction of dinosaurs
- Pablo Picasso Rose and Blue seasons
Parent/Teacher review meetings will be held from Tuesday, 22nd – Friday, 25th June 2021. These will be conducted through the ‘Whereby’ platform that was piloted last term. Kindly book your slot.
