Year 1 Week 6 News
9th October 2021
We have had a very busy week. On Thursday, we had sports day rehearsals. The children were happy to congregate according to their house colours (Red house, Green house, Blue house and Yellow house) and learnt some new cheering songs. On Friday, we went on a class trip. It was such an adventure! The children saw animals from all the animal groups we have been learning about in school. We had tour guides who were able to give detailed descriptions of different animal species. The children asked a lot of important questions.
What did the children think of the trip?
'"The roller-coaster was my favourite because it went up high and came down low.” said Bianca.
“I got a chameleon on my hand and it crawled all over my shirt! I wasn’t scared!” Expressed Steen.
“I enjoyed playing, going on the dragon, riding on the train and bouncing castle.” Voiced out Roxanne.
“I enjoyed going on the trampoline, dragon and it was good to see the gazelles.” uttered Sanayian
