Did you know that a turtle has flippers and a tortoise has feet like an elephant?
This week, the FS2s learnt different facts about tortoises and turtles. They discovered that tortoises cannot swim but they enjoy eating cabbages. They looked after the school tortoises, fed them and tried to feel the texture of the shell, which is called a carapace.
In Literacy, we focused on writing simple sentences about their half term adventures.
