Foundation Stage 2 Newsletter Week 6

This week, FS2 children delved into the world of Giants. We emphasized on the concept of size by listening to the stories of Jack and the beanstalk and The smartest Giant in Town.
Throughout the week, children continued to observe the seeds they had planted and learnt about the functions of our teeth.
In Literacy we;
- Introduced sounds h,b,f,ff,l,ll,ss
- Learnt the following tricky words: are, all and you.
- Read and wrote simple captions and 3 letter words.
In Maths, children counted and sequenced numbers 1 up to 10 by engaging in various activities both indoors and outdoors.
